Seaside balcony, living room with open kitchen. Two spacious bedrooms and and fully equipped bathroom. Terrace with table and deckchairs. Private board storage on sea level.

Casa Medano nr 8 is right on the first floor, great oceanview and overlooking the garden and entrance, with all the privacy a first floor can offer. Very comfortable & with spacious private terrace.

Casa Medano nr 9 is right on the first floor, great oceanview and overlooking the garden and entrance, with all the privacy a first floor can offer. Very comfortable & with spacious private terrace.

Casa Medano 15

Casa Medano nr 15 is on the second and highest floor, great ocean view, overlooking garden and entrance. No people above and just 2 steps from the entrance.

El Médano

The place to be!

The Location

El Médano is situated on the south west coast of Tenerife, only 10 kilometers from Airport South, entirely bordering the sea with a wooden ramp for strolling along the beach front. The beach of El Médano is about 3 kilometers long, stretching from the centre to the rusty-red mountain of Montana Roja.

The Village

El Médano is primarily a pedestrian village with a large square in the centre where the locals celebrate and organize activities. Many Canarios (inhabitants of the Canary Islands) visit El Médano over the weekends. Around the square some restaurants, a hotel and a children’s playground are located. The square ends at the central beach where many of the locals meet. In the morning the elderly villagers come for a swim, to be joined from eleven onwards by the mothers and children.

There are three things that characterise El Médano; the regular trade winds that sweep the resort and act as a magnet for windsurfers; the endless natural golden sand beaches that stretch for over 3 kilometers along its coast and the best and most popular of Tenerife’s beaches.

The Vibe

The afternoon is fairly quiet and from early evening until night the square is a real meeting place for young and old with singing, dancing and festivities in the open air. Merry-go-rounds, trampolines, cafe pavements; one huge party. The price level in El Médano is a separate attractive feature: you can shop, dine and drink at relatively low prices.

Super séjour dans cet appartement idéalement placé devant la plage, à proximité direct de TWS, du Duotone pro center, du spot South Bay et du centre ville, tout à pied. Très bien équipé, avec tout le confort pour passer un moment idéal. Les plus : une vue "grand écran" sur l'océan, une terrasse abritée quand il y a du vent pour une parfaite séance de yoga. Un garage avec accès direct pour les sessions surf du matin sur les différents spots de l'ile. J'ai adoré mon café "lever de soleil" les pieds dans l'eau, les bars, restaurants, les commerces de proximité et les belles sessions de Windsurf. Merci à Claire et Vanessa pour leur accueil. This is the second year we’ve rented an apartment from Clair, and it was (again) a real delight. Everything is taken care of: a warm welcome and all the facilities you need — washing machine, Dolce Gusto coffee maker, oven, etc. My husband surfs, and El Médano is his favorite spot in the summer. From the apartments, he can walk straight to his surfing spot, which is so ideal. We stayed here with our two young kids (6 and 4), and they also had a great time at the beach, the playgrounds, and the numerous restaurants and (especially) the ice cream parlors. Great view, right next to the ocean, perfect spot for windsurfing, Duotone Pro Center en TWS are right next to it (and with 10% discount which we loved). Beds are comfy, fully equipped. The owner is so kind, everything is there that you need. Feels like a 5 star hotel!
